About the Role
The Marathon Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Club (MCCSSC) is looking for 2 student chalet attendants for the winter season (January to early April - weather dependent).
Main duties include welcoming visitors, operating a point-of- sale system and light cleaning and snow shoveling.
Attendants can expect to work approx. 8-10 hours a week at $16/hr.
Requirements
Minimum of 14 years of age
Ability to work weekends
Assist users with equipment and directions
Knowledge of Skiing and/or Snowshoeing an asset (basic education will be provided upon hire)
About the Organization
The Marathon Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Club (MCCSSC) was established in 1987. A not-for-profit volunteer-run organization, Marathon Cross Country Ski & Snowshoe Club has something for everyone!
The MCCSSC is a premier cross-country ski and snowshoeing facility in Ontario that includes:
• 15km of ski trails through the boreal forests of northern Ontario;
• 5km of night skiing under high efficiency lighting;
• 5 km of snowshoe trails quaintly woven through the trees with vistas of Lake Superior.
